Ubuntu Weekly Newsletter Translations
With the new year in full swing, I’d like to take a few minutes to promote the Ubuntu Weekly Newsletter, and call on the community to help us with translations. We currently produce the newsletter in English, and due to some great loco team help, have translations into French and Italian.
We need more translations though to be able to reach a larger portion of our worldwide community. We would like to see translations into Dutch, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, or any language where we have an Ubuntu following. These translations can only come from you, the community. Volunteers would have to be fluent in English so they could translate into their native tongue.
Our loco teams would seem to be the best place to draw these volunteers from, but we would accept any help we could get. We will make sure that you have all the necessary resources needed to be successful. All you need is a willingness to meet a weekly deadline for publication.
To volunteer, please email me at johnc4510@ubuntu.com and include what language you can translate into and your contact information.
Please consider volunteering a small amount of your time to help us reach a larger portion of the Wordwide Ubuntu Community. Thanks!!
