Podcasts are becoming the new fun thing to do. But how do you easily record an interview or conference call. I found a great little how to while cruising the net. I wrote it up on the wiki for everyone to use: HowToRecordSkypeCalls The howto follows along in gnome, but you can just as easily use KDE. This is very easy to set up and a breeze to use. I hope you have fun with it.

This Sunday, July 20th, the editors and staff, past and present, are reuniting to bring you a very special 100th anniversary issue of the UWN. Included will be our own podcasts. In the past, we have linked to many Ubuntu related podcasts, but this will be our first effort at actually producing our own. Don’t think the podcasts are the only cool items we are working on for the anniversary issue. As you read this the staff is hard at work, so don’t miss out!
Below you will find several ways to get access to the UWN. My favorite is by subscription to the mailing list. That way you get your own copy delivered right to your personal computing device every week within minutes of publication.

The download file for the AZ team interview on the Gutsy Geeks radio show is now available here. I just listened to it myself, and I said “ah” to many times, but I think it came off ok. It did give our team some media exposure in Arizona, which is always a good thing.
